DAAD Scholarships for Development-Related Postgraduate Courses in Germany 2023

The DAAD encourages the training of specialists from developing and newly industrialized nations through its development-oriented postgraduate study programs. Local experts who are well-trained and connected to foreign partners play a crucial role in their countries’ long-term development. They are the best hope for a brighter future in which there is less poverty, more education, and better health for everyone. Foreign graduates from developing and newly industrialized countries with at least two years of professional experience can apply for scholarships to study for a postgraduate or Master’s degree at a state or state-recognized German university, or in exceptional cases, to study for a doctorate and obtain a university qualification (Master’s/PhD) in Germany.
