How to Apply for Transform Together Scholarships in the United Kingdom in 2022

Scholarships for international students entering a full-time taught programme in 2022–23 are available through Transform Together 2022. For the first year of study, undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses are eligible for a half fee waiver (50 percent discount).

Scholarships are given to students who have excelled in their academic pursuits. Applicants must also explain how they will stand out as a Sheffield Hallam University ambassador both during and after their studies.

Scholarship applications are now being accepted for courses beginning in September 2022. The deadline for applications is May 31, 2022.

Please follow these procedures to apply for a Transform Together Scholarships 2022 for September.

Fill out an application for a course at Sheffield Hallam University. Please visit our online prospectus if you have not yet applied for a course.

Make sure you meet the scholarship requirements given below.

Apply for a scholarship online using the link below by May 31, 2022, once you’ve applied for a course and received a student identity number from us.

By May 31, 2022, send your academic transcripts to globalscholarshiptranscripts@shu.ac.uk.

Within one month following the deadline, you will be notified if you were successful.

Who is eligible to apply?

To be considered for one of these scholarships, you must meet the following requirements.

be a fee-paying overseas student

(only for postgraduate students) – you must have a minimum 2.1 or equivalent in your undergraduate honors degree and complete the English and academic entry requirements for your programme.

(postgraduate only) – having not previously received a postgraduate qualification in the UK or abroad. Postgraduate scholarships from Transform Together are only available to students who are transitioning from undergraduate to postgraduate studies.

(undergraduate only) – must meet the course’s English and academic standards.

You acquired your student identifying number after applying for a full-time taught undergraduate or postgraduate study at Sheffield Hallam University.

You should be able to fully fund your studies on your own. This means you are not receiving any support for your studies from a government, a scholarship provider, a firm, or an employer.

be able to cover any additional costs associated with your education, such as field trips and tuition for subsequent years of study

Having previously been awarded a Transform Together Scholarship for a similar level of study

(only postgraduates) – having previously received a postgraduate qualification, either in the UK or elsewhere.

a sponsor or other scholarship giver is providing you with full or partial financing for your education

are interested in studying a Sheffield Hallam programme at a partner institution outside of the United Kingdom

have been accepted into one of our International Foundation Programs. You can apply for a scholarship for the course you plan to pursue after completing the Foundation Programme.

Do not accept an offer of a place on a Sheffield Hallam University course. We strongly encourage applicants to accept their offer, since we reserve the right to evaluate applicants for a scholarship only if they have accepted a course of study offer.

Additional information

Scholarships are competitive, and applicants are chosen based on information submitted in an online scholarship application form.

On the online scholarship application form, you must enter your eight-digit Student Identifier (SI) number. When your course application has been processed, the university will provide you this.

Transform Together scholarships are given as a tuition fee reduction and are only for the first year of study. There is no cash alternative.

Transform Scholarships cannot be transferred and cannot be deferred to a later start date.

For each term of study, only one financial incentive (scholarship or award) is allowed.

Our scholarship offer is reviewed and updated annually by the university, thus it is subject to change each academic year.

All decisions are made solely at the discretion of the University and are final.
